08/04 :  Easter Sunday Event

   Dear members,
For those who are not that lucky to enjoy a nice roasted homemade lamb and traditional 'kokoretsi', the Hellenic Society has a solution! We would like to invite you to the Easter Sunday barbeque that we organize on Sunday 19th April 2009 at the Outhouse from 12 in the afternoon onwards.

The Hellenic Society will provide the food free!

21/03 :  Coffee on Sunday - New Place!!!

   Dear members,

We thought we should try something a bit different this time and a bit more GREEK! We invite you to CAFE EL GRECO on Sunday 22nd of March at 14:00 for lunch/coffee (frappe or elliniko etc). They also have pastitsio, mousaka etc!!

13/03 :  Dance Performance!

   Dear members,

The University of Edinburgh organises the 24th Dance Performance, which will take place at the Pleasance Theatre from Thursday 12th March until Saturday 14th March. The Greek Dance group will participate in the festival on Friday 13th March. Other dance groups will also participate, such as salsa, tango, flamenco, capoeira, brazilian, scottish dances etc. It is a show that you cannot miss!

This will be a sell-out show, so make sure you get your tickets early. Tickets are sold on the days of the show at the Pleasance theatre. The show starts at 7 pm. See also the attached flyer.

   Dear members,

It has been a few weeks since we last met in our 'Kafeneio on Sundays', so we thought about organising it again this Sunday.
We meet on Sunday 15th March at 3(ish) pm at the Native State to have a coffee, chat and play games!
